Ingredients:
2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1/2 lb thinly sliced deli ham
8 slices Swiss cheese (or cheddar/mozzarella)
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard (optional)
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried parsley
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. - Assemble Base Layer:
Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking sheet. Seal the seams. - Layer Ingredients:
Spread Dijon mustard over the dough if using.
Layer with slices of ham and then cheese.
- Top Layer:
Unroll the second can of dough and place it on top, pressing the edges to seal. Pinch together any seams. - Butter Topping:
In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley. Brush this mixture generously over the top layer of dough. - Bake:
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and puffed. - Slice & Serve:
Let it cool for a few minutes, then cut into squares or strips. Serve with chips or pickles.
