Ingredients
For the Steak
- 500 g sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Shrimp
- 300 g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Garlic Butter Sauce
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Optional: ½ tsp crushed red pepper
Instructions
1. Season the Steak
In a bowl, toss the steak cubes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
2. Sear the Steak
Heat a skillet over high heat. Add the steak and sear for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
Remove and set aside.
3. Cook the Shrimp
In the same pan, add a small knob of butter. Add the shrimp, paprika, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
Cook for 2–3 minutes until pink and opaque.
Remove and set aside.
4. Make the Garlic Butter
Lower the heat to medium. Add the remaining butter to the pan.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add lemon juice and parsley.
5. Combine
Return the steak and shrimp to the skillet. Toss everything in the garlic butter sauce for 1–2 minutes to warm through.
