Apple Chocolate Cake – So Simple

Ingredients:

2 medium apples, finely grated or chopped

2 eggs

1 cup sugar

1 cup milk

½ cup oil

1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 cup flour

1 packet baking powder (10g)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Mix the eggs and sugar well until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.

Add the milk, oil, and vanilla extract, and continue mixing.

Add the grated apples and mix until combined.

Add the cocoa powder, then the flour mixed with the baking powder, and gently fold until you have a smooth batter.

Pour the batter into a greased or lined baking pan.

Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (340°F) for 35–40 minutes (depending on your oven).

Once it comes out of the oven, you can brush the top with a little melted chocolate to achieve the shine shown in the picture.

✨ Tips for a successful cake:

Apples provide moisture and a spongy texture without needing much butter.

You can reduce the sugar if the apples are sweet.

Do not open the oven before 30 minutes have passed.
